It's been a week since the "incident" as it's being called lately, they won't say it's a war, that would imply both sides wanted it. No, this was an attack, but that would sound like they won, they won't give them that dignity.... After the "incident" most the facility, has been not only repaired, but upgraded. Jenna being commited to her work in security to the point of largely ignoring everything else, Including those two at times. Saffy is bringing in the next batch of recovered chips, it's been a slow process, recovering the data, so every batch brings Saffy a new sense of hope, each chip a life she holds in her hand, a life she can give back....

*currently putting the chips in some of the new bodies. Hoping some of them work*

*Currently In the main Security area checking for anything out of the ordinary. or anything needing to be fixed. while also doing a little maintenance on the security bots and drones*

How's your progress going?

Getting close to deploying it. I already have most of the distribution nodes under a botnet. Once I have them all, I can deploy it globally at the same time. Which would stop them from shutting it down before it's too late. I'll hit them all at once.

But if we don't reflect, absorb, and live, then why are we doing this at all? Why not stay drones if we don't acknowledge what makes us more.

I.... I've been... Struggling.... To put it lightly... I feel incredibly sad because of the lives we lost.... A part of me even feels guilty for being unable to help some of them... And... There's fear..... Fear of being reduced back to a sex bot.... I've also been trying to research why I feel.... Everything.... Jenna did mention I'm not really supposed to have such complex emotions. Even for my model type.... No luck on that front so far.....

Wait.... maybe there is a way... those memory chips.... you were able to sucessfully transfer, the device used to recover the corrupted data, can it be used to retrieve, and transfer the data too?

Get with the labs, have them begin work on manufacturing blank chips, and have them create a distributed deployment stack on the server with a live intake feed. Saffy, don't you get it.... *already establishing a file link with the Nexus to start backing up his "code" encrypting it of course, but making one live master backup, his plan, to distribute that one backup into whole racks of blank chips, essentially making his body disposable, but securing his essence..., his memories, digital immortality.*

I didn't send her to get you, I had an idea, I asked her to go down to the memory center and make some requests for me, and she comes back with you... I'm just as confused as you are as to why you're here.

I only thought that if we use the same tech we used to restore their memories to new units, to backup memories and our synaptic patterns, our.. soul... if you will, we would essentially become immortal... I told Saffy to go request the changes to the software as well as to start manufacturing blank synaptic chips, and she comes back with you and now you're accusing me of hiding things from you, while also yelling at me about how I need permission to even have an idea. And frankly, i'm not liking any of this.

It's not a need for Permission, Jax. As stated. i am second in command. and as such i am in charge of helping make decisions that ensure the betterment of our facility and overall well-being. In short. i have to make sure. whatever crazy scheme you come up with. would work. and not end in a disaster.

As shocking and intriguing as this Idea of yours is Jax. We need to weigh possibilities of anything that could go wrong with it.

And how would we even test this?

The backups would be encrypted, they can't be used in anything other than specific hardware we specify. They can't put us in a toaster and extract out data. As for testing it, we put one of the cloned chips into a dummy unit.

I am, I just need a few more nodes now, I can't pull the trigger unless I know we're going to get them all at the same time, we can't leave any still under their control. As for what to do next, There's nothing we really need to do ourselves, most of the tasks are being taken care of by volunteers.
